Fantasee Integration Appoints Darren Lapsley as Operations Manager

Detroit, Michigan – Fantasee Integration is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Lapsley as Operations Manager, effective June 22, 2026.

Lapsley brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning lighting, lighting controls, business development, and operations. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation as a trusted industry leader known for driving growth, building strategic relationships, and delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.

Prior to joining Fantasee Integration, Lapsley served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Touche Lighting Controls, where he led national sales initiatives and developed deep relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, distributors, and manufacturers throughout the United States. He also held leadership roles with Clarus Lighting + Controls, where he contributed to significant revenue growth and expanded specification opportunities across multiple market segments.

Lapsley's background extends beyond the lighting industry. A United States Marine Corps veteran, he developed his leadership foundation in aviation operations, managing teams and mission-critical activities in demanding environments around the world. He also brings experience from General Motors, where he further refined his skills in operations, process improvement, and organizational leadership.

In his new role, Lapsley will oversee day-to-day operations for Fantasee Integration, a Detroit-based provider of lighting, audio-visual, and rigging systems specializing in permanent installations for the architainment and theater industries. He will focus on operational excellence, cross-functional coordination, project execution, and helping the company scale its growing business.
